Does a particular event or memory produce intense emotions for you?
Does it haunt you, stop you from moving forward, inhibit relationships, self-care, holding down a job, cope with change, relax, make decisions or trust others?
Then Havening could be the solution.
Havening is an alternative therapy that uses touch. It’s been a technique used by many therapists for around 15 years. Backed by science - and proven to change how the brain processes emotion, Havening creates an internal safe haven where you can process and escape emotional and physical pain.
Havening will help you if you have experienced :
Violent crime
Domestic violence
Bullying
Accidents
War
Bereavement
Abuse or neglect
Conflict
Vicarious trauma
Results are much quicker than traditional therapy. So, let’s explore the possibility of Havening for you.
Are you finding family life difficult and stressful?
Would you like your child to live their happiest life?
I am privileged to have 22 years experience of working in various roles within educational settings - supporting children and families. And I still work one day a week in a primary school.
I often spend a session with parents, carers and children teaching psycho-education - which is learning about mental health and wellbeing.
This helps everyone understand themselves, and enable better coping strategies to incorporate in daily life.
When working directly with children, I use creativity such as arts and crafts, sand, sewing, stories and lego. This enables to the child to relax and be counselled through play.
I can help with:
Children’s behaviour
Separation
Self esteem and confidence building
Bereavement
Anxieties
I understand that your family's happiness is the most important thing to you. Together we can start to make positive change today.
